Community Gathering Hub
Community Hub – Gathering Space for Workshops, Innovation, & Training
A BFFF Community Hall/Welcome Center was constructed in 2026 for a variety of purposes:
- Women’s gathering space for socializing, learning, teaching, and innovating (i.e., creating value-laden products)
- Youth gathering space for learning, socializing, community advocacy
- A place where women and men participate equally and equitably for the benefit of entire community
- A space for Batwa Indigenous community and Kashekye community to come together to build relationships, learn from one another, and co-create BFFF ideas
- Community workshops (i.e., Cultural Teachings, Conservation, English literacy, other BFF-related training, etc.,
- Includes a gardening and all-purpose-storage shed(s) (for BFF-related program materials and equipment)
