Six new garden plots were prepared (by BFFF’s women’s group) to enhance BFFF’s goal for Food Security. Seeds and seedlings were planted in these new plots during BFFF’s “2nd annual Community Planting day”.

Indigenous Batwa (with over 70,000 years of accumulated plant knowledge) planted seedlings in BFFF's Plant Medicine Pharmacy and spoke about their uses and benefits. Community acknowledgement of these respected Indigenous contributions were also shared... Refer to "Indigenous Plant Medicine Pharmacy" Update (post) for videos of Batwa sharing their plant knowledge and acknowledgements.

Community Acknowledgements, Gratitude, and dancing.... So much dancing!!!
