Documentary Film - Photo Journalism
We feel very fortunate to have met award-winning local film-makers - James King Bagyenzi (King) and Ruhanga Tashobya (Tasha) - who will document the Story of Bunyonyi Food Forest Foundation (BFFF). Through a documentary and photo gallery of Kashekye’s Women & Youth, Batwa Community, and others involved in BFFF's programs, Reel Impact Foundation will create a legacy of this work for current and future generations. BFFF Youth will also have the opportunity to learn Film & Photography skills through this work.

"...I feel that you have a capable team.
The community vibe is definitely high, you have the people mobilized and the expectation and involvement is high.
I also felt the genius of it so if you can keep the focus it will be amazing"
(King, May, 2024 - after BFFF filming with Kashekye & Batwa community))
"I totally agree with you King. I felt the same way" (Tasha)

Awarding-winning films, "Unheard", and "Punishment Island" (highlighting the story of BFFF member Tyson's Grandmother) are two of many of the films created by this Film Crew Team. They are also filmed in the same region as BFFF.
