Entusi Resort & Retreat Center (directly across from BFF Land) includes a Model Farm initiative, sponsored by the Global Livingston Institute (GLI), a non-profit organization whose goal is to educate students and community leaders on innovative approaches to international development and empower awareness, collaboration, conversations, and personal growth.
Members of Entusi have been graciously helpful in making Kashekye community connections, offering a meeting space, and ongoing support for BFFF. In particular: Raymond Bokua, Moses Twahirwa, and Sharon Niwenshuti (also a BFFF member). |
Seeds of Hope (Itambira Island, 15 min boat ride from BFF Land)
A well established Community Based Organization, Seeds of Hope (S.O.H.) provided a BFFF meeting space to gather community and conduct fieldwork. S.O.H. executive members and employees also offered generous guidance, support, and feedback to the emerging BFFF. Reel Impact TV & Reel Impact Foundation, Kabale, Uganda
Award-winning, James King Bagyenzi (King) and Ruhanga Tashobya (Tasha) will document the unfolding Story of Bunyonyi Food Forest Foundation (BFFF). Through a documentary and photo gallery of Kashekye’s Women & Youth, Batwa Community, and others involved in BFFF's programs, a legacy of this work will be created for current and future generations.

VIU-Kabale Conservation Initiative
VIU-Kabale Conservation Initiative, was initiated (in 2020) by Kabale residents with a focus on Environmental Conservation, Agro-business, and Women & Youth empowerment. Founders (Hillary & Sarah Ahimbisibwe and Tony Mudungu) remain supporters of BFFF programs and initiatives, and are able to offer local connections to Kabale community. |
